Ask that question and all laboratories will respond with “because we are good”.
So how do you choose?
There may well be many answers to the question:
Because we are big. That’s not us. And really, what relevance does that have? Really?
Because we are in many countries. That’s not us. It is a good point though – if you need a company to be in every country. And if you need someone to supervise and sample your product you may well need a company in every country, or at least the countries you are selling in to.
But, once the samples are taken, even the laboratories with offices in many countries only have a few specialist laboratories; some only one, just like us.
And…. we are actually closer to the Asian disport countries than most of the others. But that is not relevant – delivery is only days away from anywhere in the world. Get a poor service and the subsequent delays will be far greater; and more expensive.
So, the real answer is:

We know your business.

And trust is a valuable commodity these days.
Trust that your laboratory can do the job. Trust that it will do the job. Trust that it has the staff to perform the assays to a high standard. Every shipment.
And then, trust that the systems are in place to ensure the staff have to pass the most critical test you samples will face : they have to agree with each other, with our systems mirroring the party exchange system. Agree with each other or go to the umpire; our umpire.
All underscored with the assurance that the most experienced and qualified management will be the last hurdle before the results are released to you. Even, if need be, with the assurance that we will personally go on the floor and be the ultimate umpire. Can your laboratory make that claim?
Even if they do tell you “because we are good”.
